St. George’s Independent School seeks a passionate, entrepreneurial, and hard-working individual who is energized by work with athletes to serve as 5th/6th grade boys’ lacrosse coach beginning February 2018. The successful candidate will possess skills and experience that would include the ability to: collaborate on and implement practice plans and game strategies, maintain the coaching and educational philosophy of St. George's and the Athletic Department, and communicate with parents about player progress, schedule changes, and any other pertinent information
Relevant information: The varsity head coach will schedule all games, referees, and practices on behalf of the team and their coaches. The weekly time commitment for the 5th/6th head coach is five days and roughly 12-15 hours each week, including both practices and games. Practices will begin at 4:15 pm at our Collierville campus. The 5th/6th head coach will need to be available at 3:45 to meet players at the practice fields. Game times will vary throughout the week, with no games being played on Sundays.
Regularly sit, turn, bend, reach, walk, talk, hear, and interact with campus visitors as well as others who telephone. Must have the ability to understand and present materials and communicate with constituents and co-workers in a harmonious manner.
