POSITION: Reporting to the Assistant Athletics Director, Marketing and Communications, the Fan Experience Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the fan experience by coordinating pre-game (taking the field/court with the Titans), intermission, in-game, and halftime activities for all ticketed home athletic events. Develops, plans, and directs the fan experience program, including creating promotional scripts, coordinating in-game music and video content, scheduling and organizing promotional activities and game day magazine sales. Assists with producing and implementing overall marketing and promotional plans, policies, and procedures. Supports Assistant Athletics Director, Marketing and Communications in promoting atmosphere at all ticketed athletic events. Assists with corporate sponsorship program including fulfillment of university obligations and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Assists with fan experience departmental program budget process. Supervises fan experience interns and volunteer staff and coordinates staffing needs. Performs other related duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field required. 1-2 years of relevant work experience in marketing and promotion in an intercollegiate athletics environment with heavy emphasis on fan experience and increased tickets sales. Possess a strong ability to organize, plan, develop and execute a plan of action with measurable outcomes. Experienced with cultivating full-cycle donor relations. Must possess the ability to lead the work of others and coordinate departmental staffing and budgetary needs. Ability to work in a diverse team environment that includes alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and community volunteers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous marketing, communications, and fan experience preferably in an athletics environment. Involvement with and strong ability to cultivate and nurture a sponsorship environment producing a high level of customer satisfaction is preferred.
