Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs, the Director of Athletics Sponsorship and Fan Engagement will enhance the game day fan experience through promotional campaigns, marketing and corporate partnerships.
Create, implement and monitor strategic marketing and promotional campaigns to increase the visibility of SHU Athletics within its various constituencies.
Work with Sr. Associate AD to find and secure Pioneer Partners by implementing a robust sponsorship program Work with ticketing office on group ticketing, season ticketing and seating plans.
Work with other members of External Affairs staff to plan and execute social media campaigns that promote the SHU Athletics brand.
Plan and implement game production for football, women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, men's lacrosse and men's ice hockey.
Assist in special event planning and presentation.
Oversight of Big Red, including hiring, staffing and public appearance schedule.
Assist in the budgeting process in regards to Department of Athletics promotions, advertising and marketing efforts.
Responsible for oversight of student and other staff for game day, office work, etc.
Oversee the student fan group, SHU Crew.
Experience in event management and the production and supervision of major events, with an emphasis in digital and social communications.
Ability to provide superior customer service.
