The University of Virginia's College at Wise, a four year, public liberal arts college in southwest Virginia, invites applications for the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. This position will oversee the various aspects of the strength & conditioning program for the entire athletic department, including but not limited to: working with coaches to design and implement appropriate strength and conditioning plans; overseeing assistants and/or student workers in the program; supervising the weight room to include scheduling maintenance, cleaning, etc.; overseeing the strength & conditioning budget; working with the athletic training staff on appropriate return to participation programs; and working on special assignments. A bachelor's degree is required and a masters degree is preferred. Successful collegiate level experience strength and conditioning is required. Compensation for this position includes a competitive salary with an excellent benefit package.
