The person in this position will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the department's athletic communications office, including, but not limited to, statistical record-keeping, website maintenance, social media coordination, video webcasting services, photo/video editing, media relations oversight, event management, award nominations, staff/student-athlete profiles, and special event coordination.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Computer competency required. Experience with Stat Crew software, Adobe Creative Suite, SIDEARM Sports content management system, various social media platforms, video webcasting services, and video editing programs strongly preferred.
Basic photography skills and photo editing knowledge strongly preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel for games expected. Regular evening and weekend shifts required.
Excellent organizational, communication, writing, and leadership skills, whether dealing with individuals or groups, and an ability to work well with different constituents.
Ability to learn and apply University policies and procedures to ensure operational compliance and reliable judgement.
Ability to work on multiple projects under time constraints.
Ability to successfully complete a background check and additional required employee clearances.
Bachelor's degree in athletic communications, sports management or related degree required; master's preferred.
Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required with prior experience in athletics or related field strongly preferred.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Current CPR, AED, and first aid certifications required. Training and recertification can be provided if necessary.
Compliance with NCAA Division III rules and regulations required.
