Summary Ursuline College is seeking candidates for the position of Office Assistant in Softball. Ursuline College offers 11 intercollegiate athletic programs and as a member of the NCAA DII, offers athletic scholarships to our student-athletes. This position is a part time office position. It is a great opportunity for those wishing to break into coaching and to learn the administrative aspect of the job.
Responsibilities Duties include (not limited to): 1) Corresponding to inquiries 2) Tracking and data processing of student and recruit information 3) Organize, enter data and keep Compliance Assistant current 4) Assist with completing expense/cc forms 5) Review Slate listings and update 6) Organize and track fundraising income 7) Order and track uniform and equipment needs 8) Organize and reserve rooms for special events 9) Manage team and recruiting travel (research housing, transportation/flights, meals, itinerary) 10) Assist in academic monitoring 11) Assist with film 12) Other duties as assigned by Head Coach.
Length of Time and Pay 1.Position starts as soon as possible through June 15, 2018. Time off during Christmas and New Years 2.Work schedule is 3 days/week; 4 hrs/day 3.Hourly position at $10/hr
Qualifications •Microsoft Office experience •Ability to work independently and multitask •Administrative/clerical experience, including planning travel, negotiating hotels and flights •Demonstrated experience working in a multicultural environment Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record and the ability to drive vans •Commitment to high standards of character as well as a commitment to student-athlete success both academically and athletically
