Ripon College seeks an enthusiastic energetic addition to their coaching staff and admission office. The Head Coach of Softball/Admission Representative will be responsible for all aspects of a high quality Division III softball program. Duties of coaching include supervising assistant coaches, recruiting student athletes, scheduling, and overseeing the softball budget. The candidate should also have a demonstrated softball coaching experience. There will also be responsibility in assisting the admission office in the recruitment of all students and other projects as assigned.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to and the ability to articulate the value of a liberal arts education, a high level of energy, and an ability to work independently and contribute as a member of a team. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Candidate must also be willing to travel extensively and work evenings and weekends during certain times of the year. Background in softball and recruiting student athletes, particularly in a selective college environment, are desirable. Salary is commensurate with experience.
