Duke University Women’s Rowing is seeking a qualified candidate for the part-time position of boathouse manager. Under the supervision of the Head Rowing Coach, the boatman oversees trailer and truck driving, equipment repair, rigging, travel to races, maintaining engines and any other tasks assigned by the head coach. The candidate should be solutions orientated, have experience in supporting a high caliber rowing program and keep all practice sites clean, orderly and organized.
Bachelor’s degree required. Intercollegiate racing experience and two or more years of shop or boatman experience, in a competitive environment, is preferred. The successful candidate will have a team approach to operating.
This is a non-exempt, part-time position.
The desired start date for the position is September 1, 2017.
