Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director – Ticketing & Data Analytics for The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics. This position is responsible for the overall organization of the Athletic Ticket Office and ticket sales partnership activities, which also includes directing daily and game operations for all Rutgers ticketed sports, high school, NCAA and other outside events hosted by Rutgers University. Among the key duties of this position are the following: • Trains and manages ticket staff on importance of customer service regarding ticketing and donor relations. • Maintains Paciolan automated ticketing system, including Evenue online ticketing. • Executes sales action plans in coordination with outsourced ticket sales provider. • Manages CRM and data warehouse systems and processes. • Directs event operations for ticket office. • Works with Development to manage the priority point system, as well as elevate annual fund performance. • Analyze the secondary market and develop variable pricing standards to maximize revenue.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. • Also requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in ticket sales or data analytics, preferably in collegiate athletics or elsailewhere in the sports industry.
• Ability to work nights and weekends. • Must possess excellent organizational, communication and public relations skills. • Must have supervisory leadership experience. • Must be computer literate, and possess and retain a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with Paciolan ticketing software, CRM solutions, data warehouse management, Tableau dashboards, and other related platforms preferred
