Wesleyan University has an opening for a paid coaching internship position in the sport of women’s ice hockey.
Duties will include daily coaching, assisting in practice preparation, individualized instruction, recruiting, fundraising, video analysis and all other aspects of a highly competitive Division III women’s ice hockey program. Additional duties will be assigned in the areas of facility operations. Irregular hours, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, playing experience in college hockey, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Highly motivated candidates seeking a career in coaching/athletic administration are preferred.
Additional Salary Information: Additional benefits include health care and a tuition waiver for two graduate courses per semester that may lead to a master's degree in Wesleyan's Graduate Liberal Studies Program
