The department of Athletics at Clarkson University, a Division I member of the ECAC Hockey League and a Division III member of the Liberty League, is seeking an Assistant Athletic Trainer for our Division I men’s Ice Hockey program and other DIII teams as assigned. This is a full-time 11-month position with full medical and retirement benefits. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: the athletic trainer for our Division I men’s hockey team and other Division III teams as assigned, assisting the head trainer in the daily operations of the training room, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor degree, 3-5 years collegiate athletic training experience, and NATABOC certified in good standing and certified to work in the USA and eligible for licensure in New York State. Current certification in CPR and First Aid. The ability to relate effectively to student athletes, coaches and other health care professionals, and the University community.
Master’s degree and a minimum of two years experience working with Division I men’s hockey are preferred.
