Lafayette College is currently seeking an Assistant Men’s and Women’s Swimming Coach. The position is part-time. Lafayette College is a most academically competitive, independent, undergraduate, coeducational institution with a student body of 2,300 students with Division I membership (Football - FCS) in the NCAA and the Patriot League. The athletics program consists of 11 sports for men and 11 sports for women and one co-ed sport. In recent years, the program has produced several conference champions, both athletic and academic All-Americans, and several NCAA tournament appearances.
Assisting in the coaching of Division I student-athletes.
Recruiting and assessment of qualified student-athletes.
Assist in the organization and planning of all practice sessions and home contests.
Assist in advising student-athletes.
Possess knowledge of rules and regulations of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and the Patriot League and any conference of which Lafayette is a member.
Assist in all fundraising and development activities.
Assist in continued development of positive public relations with community and local high schools.
Performance of all other duties and special projects as assigned by the Athletic Administration and the Head Swimming Coach.
Knowledge of NCAA and ECAC rules and regulations.
