Saint Francis University invites applications for a Graduate Assistant- Athletic Video Production in the Department of Athletics. The Graduate Assistant- Athletic Video Production is directly responsible to the Multi-Media Services Coordinator to work with Division I intercollegiate athletics programs where he/she will gain hands-on experience in the Sports Entertainment Industry. Saint Francis University is a member of the NCAA Division I competing in the Northeast Conference. The candidate must have a commitment to adhering to all rules and regulations of Saint Francis University, the Northeast Conference, and the NCAA. In addition, the candidate must understand and actively support the mission of the Department of Athletics and Saint Francis University.
Candidate must hold a bachelor degree in Broadcasting, Communication, TV Production, Journalism, or related field. Previous experience is preferred in, operating a camera under various conditions, operating a camera in live event environment, digital video editing, Adobe Suite and other editing applications and a basic knowledge of sports production. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills are essential.
Compensation for the position is tuition remission in a Saint Francis University master’s degree program. Candidates must be admitted into a master’s program at Saint Francis University in order to qualify for the position.
