Overview: Quinnipiac University invites applications for the part-time position of Ice Cats Head Coach to assist the spirit squad in preparing skating routines and to supervise the team during any travel or community service activities. During the period of appointment, this position will report to Executive Director of the TD Bank Sports Center.
The University is a member of the Eastern College Athletic Conference Hockey League (ECAC), the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), the Big East Conference and is an NCAA Division I member sponsoring 21 varsity sports.

Successfully identify and evaluate potential Ice Cats through the student tryout process
Maintain a safe and challenging environment that will develop the physical, mental and personal abilities of the Ice Cats
Supervise and assist the Ice Cats during designated practice times in the development of dance and skating routines for home men's ice hockey contests
Oversee budget and maintain fiscal responsibility for the Ice Cats' finances
Supervise the Ice Cats during any necessary off-campus travel and community service activities
Adhere to University and Athletic Department policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Special Instructions to Applicants
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong organizational skills
Duty to interact professionally with the department, the campus and the national community
Ability to work nights and weekends as require
Must be available for post-season travel
