The University of Vermont Department of Athletics is seeking a dynamic staff person to fill the position of Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance. The successful candidate will be tasked with assuring that staff, student-athletes and other groups representing the institution’s athletics interests comply with applicable NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules and regulations. In the role of Assistant AD for Compliance, the individual will direct and assist in all areas of rules compliance, including but not limited to rules education, recruiting, amateurism, eligibility, awards and benefits, and playing/practice seasons. The position will maintain a working knowledge of NCAA, Conference and institutional rules and regulations. The position will report to the Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance and Sport Administration. Bachelor’s Degree and two years relevant experience with NCAA Rules and Division I compliance requirements, or the equivalent. Experience with ARMS software preferred.
