Head coach will be responsible for all aspects of the Women’s Lacrosse program. Responsibilities include creating a positive and successful team atmosphere that fosters mutual respect for preparation and enjoyment of competition, the total growth and development of the student-athlete, recruiting qualified student- athletes and selecting team, recommending and mentoring an assistant coach, and practice planning, scheduling, and advising and referring athletes through the College process. The Head Coach will be expected to design and implement effective fundraising initiatives for the program and actively participate in Contest Management and extra-curricular activities on campus. Must be able to communicate effectively with players, peers, parents, Endicott Community and media outlets.
Minimum of a Bachelor Degree with a Master degree preferred; 1 – 5 years coaching experience at the college level; experience in event management, student supervision, pre-game set up and post-game break down, crowd control management, and post-game incident reporting; exceptional management skills; ability to mentor students in a highly challenging academic environment; current adult CPR/AED certification; strong written, oral and organizational and problem solving skills; strong leadership skills; ability to work as part of a team.
