Position Description: Responsible for the organization and administration of all facets of the men's and women's fencing program to ensure a quality program and successful Division 1 team. Recruits athletes and oversees their training. Monitors and supports academic success of student athletes. Builds and maintains a public awareness of the program. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Previous successful fencing coaching experience. Commitment to NCAA rules/regulations and student-athlete academic success. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license and ability to establish driver eligibility under the University's Motor Vehicle Policy.
Preferred Qualifications: Successful collegiate coaching and recruiting experience. Familiarity with Northeast Ohio region. Demonstrated commitment to diversity. Professional experience in a metropolitan college/university environment.
