Master's degree in Athletic Training or a highly related field from an accredited university.
Minimum of five years of experience in Athletic Training and/or Sports Medicine
Knowledge of current practices and technology in Sports Medicine.
Must posses Board of Certification (BOC) certification, which includes CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
Must be State licensed by the Louisiana State Board Medical Examiner (LSBME) or eligible Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) Training.
Must be in good standing with the National Athletic Trainers' Association.
Must maintain an understanding of and assure adherence to NCAA, Southland Conference, Institutional rules, and University of Louisiana Board of Supervisors regulations.
