The admissions and communications fellow will work closely with WNA staff to enhance our growing admissions and communications strategies. The position will work with both the director of admissions and director of communications. Possible assignments include helping with prospective students and their admission files from inquiry to enrollment; assisting in planning and running admission events on campus; gathering and creating content to be sent out to applicants and/or current parents; projects for our online presence, including WNA’s website and social media channels; and input on weekly communications projects, including the newsletter and editing tasks. WNA fellows will gain hands-on experience that will build a strong foundation for a fulfilling career in independent schools. Specifically, this position will be responsible for coaching a sport each season, participating on a rotating dorm duty team, and lending support in other areas of the academic and/or co-curricular program. Candidates should be enthusiastic and organized, and comfortable working within deadlines and taking initiative on creative projects. The successful candidate’s areas of expertise will also be considered and possibly incorporated into the education program.
