The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics invites applications for the position of Head Women’s Golf Coach. The position is a full-time academic year, annual appointment with possibility of annual renewal. The head coach is responsible for all phases of a competitive NCAA Division II women’s golf program. Responsibilities include organization, administration, supervision, scheduling, fundraising, recruiting, coaching, tournament organization, budgeting, and the selection and supervision of an assistant coach. The head coach must have a willingness to recruit from diverse populations, monitor and advise student-athletes' academic progress as well as contribute to the overall working of the department, including public relations activities within the University and Chico community.
Minimum Qualifications: The minimum education requirement for appointment to this position is a Bachelor’s Degree. Three years of experience coaching or teaching golf is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree or relevant equivalent certification and experience coaching in a collegiate environment with experience at the NCAA Division II level are preferred.
Additional Salary Information: Salary commensurate with education and experience.
