Millsaps College a private, liberal arts NCAA DIII institution, located in Jackson, MS, seeks applications for a Certified Athletic Trainer This is a full-time, (non-faculty) position in the Department of Athletics.
Responsibilities will consist of assisting the Director of Sports Medicine with day to day operation/supervision of the training room, assist with prevention, assessment, management, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
Duties also include but not limited to overseeing the rehabilitation of athletic injuries, sports coverage as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine, supervise other trainers and student athletic trainers.
This position requires travel with teams and coverage of practices and home games. Assist with paperwork/record keeping and other administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine.
This is a 10-month appointment from August to May.

Batchelor's Degree required, Master’s preferred. Applicants must be NATA-BOC certified and have or be eligible for Mississippi state licensure.
