Yeshiva University, a NCAA Division III institution and part of the Skyline Conference, located in New York City is seeking applicants for a part-time Head Softball Coach. The coach will perform all duties associated with effectively managing, developing and implementing a compliant and successful intercollegiate softball program.

The Position: This is a part-time position responsible for all aspects of leading an NCAA Division III softball program.
This includes but is not limited to:
Recruitment of prospective student-athletes
Running of practice sessions and game preparation
Supervision of assistants
Monitoring the academic status of student-athletes
Other duties as requested by Director and Assistant Director of Athletics
The head coach will also be responsible for working with athletics staff to support and uphold the philosophy, goals and mission of both the university and the YU athletics program.
Experience and Educational Background:
A minimum two years of collegiate coaching experience preferred, or three years as a high school or travel coach
Skills and Competencies:
A commitment to knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations
Recruiting experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to establish good rapport and effective working relationships with student-athletes, coaches, staff and alumni
Ability to work nights, weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule
This is a part-time position.
