General Description: Assistant Swimming and Diving coach for combined men’s and women’s programs.
Duties and Responsibilities: •Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting in the planning, development, and administration of all phases of swimming and diving program. •Duties include coordinating and implementing recruiting strategies, assisting with practice and skill development, and managing equipment, camps and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. • Applicants should have the ability to project a positives image of the program and university and demonstrate a dedication to academic and personal development of student-athletes. •Must be committed to conducting the program in accordance with the philosophy of the Athletics Department, understand and must adhere to all policies and procedures and regulations of the university, the Southeastern Conference and the NCAA.
Experience: Experience coaching and training collegiate and/or professional swimmers required. Experience as a collegiate swim coach or collegiate swimmer preferred. Experience coaching elite performing swimmers in national and international competitions preferred.
Skills: Knowledge of NCAA rules preferred.
