Job Summary: This is a two-year part-time appointment working 20 hours a week for 9 months per year with eligibility of graduate tuition waiver benefits covering 18 credits per academic year, for degree granting programs at the university. Position will assist the head coach in organizing, supervising, and controlling all the activities related to field hockey.

Assist the head coach in individual player development, skill instruction and supervision, and mentoring of student-athletes in their athletic and academic success
Assist with organization and supervision of team activities and practices
Participate in recruiting activities under the direction of the head coach
Logistical support of team operations related to travel and meals
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations • Demonstrate knowledge of field hockey • Commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy and guidelines • Adherence to conference and university regulations regarding athletics and sportsmanship • Strong managerial, administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills • Computer proficiency • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred
Required Education, Experience, and License:
Prior playing or coaching at the college level is preferred
