Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors and prospects with the following initial annual goals: 250 in-person visits, 30 proposals and a 95% renewal of current Pride Club Members.Assist in direction and coordination of Falcon Pride Club development efforts to include creating and executing fundraising plans and strategies to generate gifts from individuals, corporations and foundations.Secure gifts aimed at meeting the calculated goals of the Falcon Pride Club and Academy to ensure operational support of all 27 intercollegiate programs while meeting annual goals set by AFAAC leadership.Lead annual giving efforts for specified sports including but not limited to Air Force Football.Increase visibility and revenue generation of Air Force Athletics and the Falcon Pride Club through calls, visits, solicitations and stewardship of new and existing members.Support AFAAC leadership in areas of major giving, alumni relations and communications.Promote the message of the Falcon Pride Club through communication and donor visits.Some travel required outside of regular office hours at the discretion of the Associate AD for External Operations and the AFAAC CEO.____________The AFAAC is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that supports and manages all of the Air Force Academy's athletics fundraising programs while also providing assistance with coaching, recruiting, ticketing, logistics and sports conference objectives. Ability to successfully communicate with AFAAC stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage, mentor and lead support staff.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred.
Strong strategic decision making.
Three to five years of experience in athletic development
Exceptional oral communication skills with an emphasis on excellent customer service.
Working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or other fundraising CRM software.
Experience in a team environment and strong interpersonal skills. Careful attention to detail while managing multiple projects at once in a fast paced environment.
