The Mid-South Conference is seeking a Graduate Assistant for the Sports Information Office. The successful candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in sports information and communications. Candidates must be able to work independently as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
Help manage the sports information and communications efforts for each sport within the conference.
Producing and distributing press releases for championships, all-conference selections, players of the week, national rankings, etc.
Assisting in managing the Mid-South Conference’s website - mid-southconference.org.
Working and managing communications efforts of selected conference championships and other special events.
Responsible for creating and distributing conference messages for use across multiple platforms.
Produce graphic designs for the conference awards and announcements.

Additional Info: A Bachelor’s Degree is required for the position and the selected candidate will be provided a $6,000 stipend, graduate work ($3,750 per semester), on-campus housing and meals at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky, for their service.
