General Description: The Eastern Oregon University Sports Information Office is seeking a qualified applicant to serve as a graduate assistant in the fields of media relations, marketing, and event management. The applicant will work side by side with the SID and collaboratively with department coaches and administrators. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Bachelor’s Degree. For admission into the MBA program, your bachelor’s degree must be in business or related fields (Agribusiness, Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc)
Admission into an EOU Graduate Program
A comprehensive understanding of college athletics
Demonstrated writing proficiency (AP Style)
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously, while also working well under pressure situations
Understand and be able to effectively manage social media technologies
Experience in video production
Ability to meet deadlines
Experience with game or event management
All candidates are required to pass a Background Check review.
