The Head coach will be responsible for managing all aspects of a competitive and successful NCAA Division II Men’s Golf program with the primary responsibility being the planning and instruction of skills. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to the academic success of the student-athletes in the program that leads to graduation through a positive collegiate experience. Duties and responsibilities include: Compliance with NCAA, SAC and Wingate Policies and Regulations, the head coach must be efficient at individualized and team instruction with emphasis on teaching all skills and strategies associated with the sport, Recruiting quality student-athletes that are committed to the University’s mission, Commitment to and the management of program budget, Provide academic support and oversight for all student-athletes, Tournament scheduling, Practice and tournament planning and implementation, Player development and evaluation, Supervise an effective strength and conditioning program, Managing travel (booking hotels, vans, buses, etc.), Developing and maintaining positive alumni relations, Day to day program administration, Fundraising and community service activities, Other duties as assignedInterested candidates must send via email a letter of application, resume and contact information for three references to email@example.com. Successful collegiate coaching experience is preferred
Demonstrated expertise in on course instruction and knowledge of the sport
