The University of North Dakota is seeking applicants for an assistant coach for women’s softball.Responsibilities:Assist the head softball coach in all areas of coaching a Division I collegiate softball program, could include but not limited to: •daily coaching at games and practices •assist strength coach for weight training and conditioning practices•recruiting •scheduling •practice/game management•scouting opponents•academic supervision of student-athletes•monitoring of social media for social media sites for student-athlete •video analysis •public relations/community service •fund-raising •camp organization/coordination •maintain social media sites for the softball team •other organizational and administrative duties as assigned by head coach •Must have a thorough knowledge of and commitment to NCAA compliance and follow all NCAA, conference and UND rules and regulations. •Must provide support and encouragement and ensure the safety and well-being of the student-athletes.•Must successfully complete a criminal history background check•Must have a valid driver’s licenseSalary: $1,250/month or $15,000/annual, non-benefitted, part-time, ACA eligible

Pitching coach experience
Division I playing or coaching experience
