Coastal Carolina University Women's Soccer Club Team, an SCSA Division 2 program and member of the National Intramural Sports Association (NIRSA) Championship Series, invites applications for the position of Head Coach (temporary position) for the fall of 2017.
Responsibilities: Head coach's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, player development, planning and conducting practices, establishing team roster, productive game management, representing team interests at regional and nation conference meetings, team supervision during travel and providing guidance to the team's student leadership.
Duties will include but not be limited to: Developing and maintaining a competitive soccer program in harmony with SCSA, NIRSA Championship Series and university policies and procedures; actively leading and teaching eager student-athletes who wish to increase program successes; implementing an effective training program to prepare athletes both physically and mentally for competition; establishing behavioral objectives for the season; and coordinating focus on student-athlete performance as well as persona and leadership development.
The head coach is accountable to the officers of the CCU women's soccer club adherence to club university guidelines outlined by the CCU Student Organization Manual and the Department of University Recreation.
