Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement ticket sales strategies for groups and organizations that are targeted prospects for purchasing season and single game tickets to select University of Akron athletic events including; football, men and women’s basketball and men’s soccer. • Sales will be developed and solicited through in person connections with individuals, organizations and groups. • Assistant Director of Ticket Sales will be responsible for researching and identifying prospective customers, making connections, cultivating relationships, soliciting and fulfillment of sales. • Assistant Director of Ticket Sales will work in conjunction with the Athletics Marketing department to sell theme nights and ticket packages to select events. • Oversight and management of the following staff positions: Graduate / Student Assistant(s) for Ticket Sales (as applicable)
