Job Description
Brigham Young University is looking to hire an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach for a Division 1 Athletic department. This individual will coordinate the strength and conditioning program for teams assigned by the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach by designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs, regularly testing the athletes to determine the effectiveness of the programs and maintaining accurate records of athlete's progress, assist with the scheduling and daily upkeep of the strength and conditioning facility. This individual will also teach 2 university-offered physical education classes per year. Involvement with the football strength and conditioning program will be minimal.

Requirements
-Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related field; Master's degree preferred -3 years of experience at the collegiate level strongly preferred -Certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CSCS) or Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa-SCCC) strongly preferred -Ability to coach the Olympic lifts -The qualified individual will also demonstrate a passion for the strength and conditioning profession, strong communication skills and the ability to motivate a variety of student-athletes on a daily basis
