The Assistant Professor of Kinesiology & Director of the Athletic Training Education Program, is a full-time tenure-track position to facilitate learning, engage in scholarly activity, and participate in professional organizations related to athletic training. Preparation and experience should enable the applicant to provide quality instruction in undergraduate courses in athletic training and exercise science and function as the Director for the athletic training education program.
Requirements
Required qualifications: Doctoral degree in athletic training, exercise science, or related field, individuals who are ABD will be considered; hold a current national certification and be in good standing with the Board of Certification (BOC); have a minimum of five years experience as a BOC certified athletic trainer and current knowledge of Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) standards.
