Job Description
Lewis & Clark College seeks an energetic and personable individual who has demonstrated the ability to be effective as a multi-gender collegiate golf coach. The coach reports to the Director of Physical Education and Athletics or his/her designee.

The coach is responsible for all aspects of a high quality collegiate men's and women's program to include recruiting, training and monitoring academically and athletically promising student-athletes, supervising coaching assistant(s), cultivating and engaging alumni and conducting appropriate summer camps and/ or clinics for which there would be additional compensation. The coach is also responsible for instructing a minimum of one class per semester or other duties as assigned.

NOTES:
Additional Salary Information: $1000 to $1500 per month

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

The primary considerations for the position will be: 1) demonstrated success/ ability to recruit male and female student-athletes to a highly selective liberal arts college, 2) demonstrated success communicating high level golf skills, techniques and strategies, 3) organization of on and off campus practices and events.

A Bachelor's degree and strong computer skills are required as is the willingness and ability to work in an enjoyable and challenging environment as part of a dedicated administrative and coaching staff. Certification in first aid, CPR/ (AED) is also required but can be provided for the appropriate candidate.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in a related field. Participation as a student-athlete and/or coach at the NCAA Division III level and/ or the ability to demonstrate a clear understanding and be committed to the Division III philosophy and the role of recreation, physical education and athletics within a private, liberal arts academic setting.
