Defiance College, an NCAA D-III institution located in NW Ohio, seeks qualified applicants for a graduate assistant softball coach. Responsibilities include serving as the primary assistant for softball, recruiting, game and practice organization, field maintenance, assisting with travel arrangements, camp development and operation, fund raising and assisting head coach in all phases of student-athlete mentoring and evaluation. This 2-1/2 year assistantship requires a bachelor’s degree, admission to the graduate program at Defiance College, and collegiate playing/coaching experience. Start date is January 4, 2010. Compensation includes an annual stipend, graduate school tuition, room within campus-owned housing, and meals when served to students during the academic year.
